Thanks for getting behind Team Talk on 13th November, as there was a good number getting there in good time.
I was quite moved by the moment of silence for Remembrance where you could hear a pin drop. So thanks everybody.
Joe Benjamin of Emmanuel FC won Manager of the Month so well done. Ironically, EFC subsequently proceeded to lose their match, albeit a close affair.
We had the draw for the first round of the Cup, to take place on 18th December. Details of how progress of the 3 trophies (Cup/Shield/Plate) are arrived at, to follow.
My thanks to Tom Robertson who brought a spiritual thought for the day.

An important point, which I want to emphasise and for everyone to take in good heart Also, please do your best to comply this request.
I'm the first one to rejoice with my team when, 'we' score a goal. However please could you make every effort to prevent spectators (and not only at these times) from going onto the pitch to celebrate with their team players. I have asked the Team Reps to remind everyone, before a match and to take steps to stop any barracking of players and refs. happening during matches. Referees should not be expected to police this sort of thing going on as his job is to officiate the match only.
Also, should refereeing decisions be disputed, only the team captain should make representation to the ref. Please do not surround him or allow major interference from the sidelines.
